Foram submetidas a várias revistas científicas artigos contendo mais uma série de análises envolvendo conjunto de dados da chamada “fase de verificação científica” da DECam, período entre setembro de 2012 a fevereiro de 2013 em que o instrumento fez os últimos ajustes para otimizar seu desempenho. Membros da colaboração DES-Brazil participam destas equipes, que realizaram estudos envolvendo desde a detecção de objetos do Sistema Solar, até os efeitos de distorções em imagens por efeito de lenteamento gravitacional fraco.
