Resumo: I will review the many scientific topics on transient and variable sky in which members of our collaboration are world-leading experts, from geometric transits to nuclear explosions, and give a brief overview of the expected and wished for results LSST could provide, and of the work needed to do to assure LSST’s potential to explore the transient sky is unleashed.
